A DESPERATE plea for women's summer clothing has been made by a charity shop - after selling out almost all of its stock.

Volunteers are in urgent need of men's and women's summer wear to fill Daisychain Benevolent Fun, at 32 St John's.

Manager Lynne Shergold said: "We've completely run out of women's clothing - we're struggling.

"It's our main seller.

"We need good quality ladies and gents summer clothing.

"Summer hasn't finished yet and we have run out of stock."

People can drop of clothing between 9.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Saturday.

Daisychain Benevolent Fund Trust raises money to help sick children and young adults in the community.

"We will take anything and sort through it.

"Even if we can't use it in the shop we can get rag money for it."

The store is also looking for volunteers to help in the shop on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday between 9.30am to 1pm and 1pm to 4.30pm.

Anyone who can help is asked to call 01905 748820.
