MOTORWAY police are cracking down on vehicle crime in an operation at Strensham, near Worcester, today (Sunday).
A number of drivers have been caught by the Central Motorway Police Group (CMPG) and DVLA without valid vehicle insurance, road tax or driving licences.
THE CMPG tweeted to say that 85 per cent of vehicles checked in three hours were either defective or drivers had committed "document offences".
One driver was found to be using their vehicle without insurance, tax and a licence, and another for driving with a provisional licence.
Checks are also taking place to assess vehicles' road-worthiness during the multi-agency operation.
