Members of a Worcester amateur dramatic society raise more than £1,000 in the Cancer Research UK's Race for Life.
The 20-strong team of Worcester Operatic and Dramatic Society's Youth Section - WODYS - helpers and parents ran and walked around the course.
Beverly Abbs, WODYS publicity officer, said: "Many more of the 70 youngsters in WODYS would have liked to take part, but several of them were in rehearsal on Sunday for our summer show, Hot Mikado, to be staged at Worcester's Swan Theatre from Tuesday, July 31 to Saturday, August 4. However, we have had sponsorship and good wishes from them.
"We all did it for various people we have known who have had cancer. It was a wonderful event, very emotional but great fun. "
