A FAMILY puppet show that brings a turtle’s adventures to life will return to Worcester, with a performance at The Hive.
The Journey of the Turtle by Lempen Theatre uses traditional storytelling with table-top puppets, shadows and music to depict the turtle’s journey to maturity, as seen through the imagination of two children. It will be shown on Thursday July 28, at 2pm.
A spokesman said: "The story begins with the turtle being impatient and selfish, but as the story unfolds he learns to take the important steps that allow him to transform his life.
"Aimed at families and younger children, the production aims to inspire its audience to follow their dreams."
Laura Worsfold, Business Development Manager at The Hive, said: “This charming performance has received some fantastic reviews and is widely praised for captivating the imagination of children.
“The Journey of the Turtle is one of many family events and activities taking place at The Hive over the summer break.”
Tickets can be purchased at The Hive and online, www.thehiveworcester.org
