POPSTAR Cher Lloyd will be releasing her new single tomorrow (Friday) - six years after the Malvern singer found fame on X Factor.
Cher teased fans on Twitter with artwork for her newest song Activated which features a sleek new look for the star.
Fans have been excited by the prospect of new music, with one tweeting "wow I can't wait!!!!! love u so much. ahh my heart is so happy!!!" and another "I'm so excited for this".
The 22-year-old hit the number one spot with her first single Swagger Jagger followed by With Ur Love featuring Mike Posner which reached number four.
She managed to crack the US, settling down in LA with her husband Craig Monk.
In 2010, a 17-year-old Cher Lloyd, who attended Chase High School and Dyson Perrins High School reached the finals of the X Factor alongside One Direction and eventual winner Matt Cardle.
She released her first album, Sticks + Stones in 2011, reaching number four in the album charts, while 2014's follow up Sorry I'm Late reached 21 in the UK chart.
