THE De Montfort School's student and staff orchestra performed a contemporary interpretation of Pachelbel's Canon in D at the No 8 Theatre, Pershore.
In collaboration with DJ Ed Steelfox, the orchestra, led by music teachers Charlotte Walden and Nicola Collingbourne, used traditional instruments and sampling technology to create a modern interpretation of the piece.
The showcase was part of the Voices and Visions festival in conjunction with the BBC Ten Pieces project.
The programme featured young musicians and dancers from across Worcestershire.
