A SUMMER fete held at a Worcester school has raised £1,500 for a cancer charity.
Staff and pupils from King's St Alban's presented the money to Kelly Whitehouse, Macmillan fundraising manager for Worcestershire.
She said: "I'm always left humbled by the generosity shown by the people of Worcester.
"It’s inspirational how people come together for this event, make small and large donations and champion the cause to raise a significant amount of money for Macmillan, helping those less fortunate than themselves."
The money was raised at the school's fete in May.
