POLICE have released images of the 12-week-old puppies stolen in Forthampton.

The Border Collie pups, Neo and Thornton were taken from a kennel in the garden of a property in Long Green overnight on Thursday, July 11.

Owners Paul and Linda Carter discovered the theft the following morning and offered a reward of £1,000 for their safe return.

The puppies are both male. One is black and white while the other is brown and white with identical markings.

The puppies, which are both microchipped, were believed to be in Gloucestershire.

PCSO Lisa Freeman, who is investigating the offence, said: "We are keen to locate these puppies as soon as possible and to identify the offender.

"Their owners are understandably incredibly upset and distressed at the theft, and want to ensure that the puppies are safe."

Anyone who witnessed suspicious behaviour at the time, or who may have information on the location of the puppies, is asked to call 101 quoting reference number 0113S.
