THIS is Annie, a very special three-legged dog who is currently in the care of RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch.

She is a lovely five-year-old black lurcher who is looking for a kind and caring person to help her get over the trauma she's been through.

Geraldine Haynes, branch trustee, takes up the story: "Annie is a wonderful girl who sadly had to have her front leg amputated because it was so severely damaged when she was found.

"She needs a quiet home with lots of TLC, but no flights of stairs she has to climb. She also needs a secure garden and can manage a couple of steps.

"Annie is a very sweet natured girl who is frightened of people until she gets to know them."

If you feel you can help to build her confidence and offer her the loving home she deserves, call Geraldine on 01886 822083.
