A DRINK driver who fled the scene of a crash in Belbroughton has been arrested overnight following a search which also involved a police helicopter.
The Operations Patrol Unit of West Mercia Police tweeted this picture of the damaged van at Belbroughton, near Bromsgrove.
A police spokesman said: "The driver of this van ran off from the scene in Belbroughton but was located nearby and arrested for drink driving."
The pursuit also involved the National Police Air Service (NPAS) Birmingham which provided air support.
They tweeted last night: "Busy shift so far with searches in Leominster, Belbroughton, Wolverhampton (x2), Brierly Hill, Halesowen and a pursuit in Castle Vale."
