AN 80 year old man is missing in Worcester after leaving his home to go fishing on Saturday (July 16).

Bill Barratt, from Vicarage Close in Hallow is white, five foot seven inches tall, of thin build with grey hair.

He usually wears grey or white trousers when fishing.

He drives a silver Volkswagen Polo registration number VO60 PKK.

West Mercia Police Inspector, Tony Garner said: "Bill has been known to have had some health issues in the past and we're extremely concerned for his welfare.

"We're not sure where he was going fishing so we would ask anyone who is out fishing or walking near waterways and lakes in the area to keep an eye out for Bill and his vehicle and call us immediately if they see anything.

"We know his vehicle was in Dyfed Powys area yesterday so he may have been heading towards Elan Valley.

"We'd also ask people to keep an eye on hedgerows and riverbanks because we are concerned that he may have collapsed."

If anyone sees Bill or have any information on his whereabouts they should call 101 and quote incident 0347s of 17 July 2016.
