WORCESTERSHIRE is to be represented in a huge parade in London this week to mark the opening of the new Household Cavalry Museum.
Vintage vehicles belonging to two members of the county's South Midlands Military Vehicle Trust have been loaded on to a tank transporter for the event tomorrow.
One vehicle is an Alvis Saracen Armoured Command Post dating from 1956, owned by Ann Griffiths.
She and husband John have spent two years restoring it back to working order.
Mrs Griffiths, from Grafton Flyford, said: "We have spent so many hours and lovingly restored this.
"It is hard to quantify what we have spent on it."
The other vehicle is a Daimler Ferret Scout Car owned by security alarm firm owner Jeremy Carvill.
This particular version is extremely rare with only four or five left in the world.
Tomorrow's parade is raising money for the Household Cavalry Museum Appeal.
