HUNDREDS of pounds worth of stock was stolen from a fishing shop on Rose Avenue on Friday night.

Two thieves raided the Worcester Angling Centre, of 161 Rose Avenue and stole rods, reels and pole holdalls.

Gary Hickton, the owner of the store said: "Hello all had a very stressful day today I arrived at the shop to find we had been burgled over night.

"Loads of Rods , reels and pole holdalls gone if anyone has any info that leads to arrest and conviction i will pay a substantial reward and no names where the info came from."

The Duty Inspector for Worcester said: "Police attended a shop in the early hours of July 9 (Saturday) after it was reported by a member of the public, we cannot confirm what was stolen."
