A LUXURY country manor hotel in Worcestershire boasting an AA three rosette restaurant has appointed a new head chef.
The sous chef at Brockencote Hall Hotel, Chaddesley Corbett, near Kidderminster, Tim Jenkins is being promoted to head chef from Monday August 1 and will lead the passionate and talented team in the kitchen.
The hotel – one of the Eden Hotel Collection has a reputation for serving mouth-watering dishes using top quality seasonal ingredients with the backdrop of sweeping countryside views.
Locally-sourced produce includes freshly-picked wild plants, herbs and fruit from the hotel’s kitchen garden and honey from its beehives, plus the huge bounty available from the finest artisan producers in Worcestershire and the surrounding countryside.
Sous chef Tim Jenkins has been at Brockencote Hall Hotel for nine years and, for the last six years, has been honing his exemplary culinary skills under the watchful eye of the hotel’s former head chef Adam Brown - previously of Restaurant Gordon Ramsay and Le Champignon Sauvage, Cheltenham.
Mark Chambers, managing director of the Eden Hotel Collection, said: “Home-grown chefs are a speciality of the Eden Hotel Collection. We are delighted to celebrate the promotion of Tim Jenkins, whose natural talent has been nurtured well by Adam Brown over the past few years.
“We are equally proud that Adam has been promoted to the role of executive chef at Mallory Court Hotel, one of our flagship properties.”
