DEFENDER Ashley Carter has become Kidderminster Harriers’ latest new face after he signed a contract with the club for the forthcoming season.
The versatile 20-year-old has penned a one-year deal.
Having spent time with Birmingham City and Aston Villa, he first signed as a professional with Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2014.
Left-footed Carter is capable of playing at the heart of the defence as well as in both full-back positions and as a holding midfield player.
He is already accustomed to life in the National League North after a fruitful spell with Tamworth at the back end of last season where he flourished.
Carter said: “I had a few options but I met with the gaffer and Matt (Gardiner) and the determination and passion they showed towards what they want to do just ticked all the boxes for me.”
