A WOMAN has been attacked in a Worcester alleyway in the early hours.
The victim was assaulted by a man at about 4.50am today, somewhere along a walkway between Bransford Road and School Road and one School Road and Boughton Street.
Police are not treating the incident as a sexual assault, although the motive is not yet known and nothing was stolen.
The victim was not seriously injured and did not require hospital treatment.
This morning police had cordoned off the alley, which is expected to be opened later today.
