SEVEN older people living in Worcester Community Housing properties have been exploring the worldwide web during a special silver surfers' day organised by the housing association.
And they discovered some fascinating things about their past. Event organiser and support housing officer Hazel Lane said one man used to be a boxer and he found himself on the internet, while two others had been in the forces and were able to look up where they had been stationed abroad. She said: "It is the first one of these we have ever done and it went really well. All those who took part were in their 70s and 80s and they were surprised how easy it was."
