TRADITIONAL sports day activities were brought back to life at a Worcester school.
Children at The Lyppard Grange Primary School took part in egg and spoon races, sack races, three-legged races and sprints for their annual sports day, which was themed around the school's current history activity week.
The event, which was attended by pupils, staff and parents, was organised by Michele Burns and Sherry Minton.
They said: "It was a really lovely day and everyone enjoyed themselves. It was a change from our usual sports day as we linked it in to our history week and had traditional activities.
"We also had a parents race and a staff race. The weather was great so we had a fantastic time."
