CHILDREN at a Pershore school will soon be able to enjoy some new additions to their ever-expanding garden.
Holy Redeemer Primary School has been awarded a £10,000 grant from the Big Lottery Fund and plans to use the money on making the school greener than ever with a greenhouse, gazebo, the planting of new trees, new pathways and a wormery.
Headteacher Hilary Rowlands said: "It's fantastic news. We have made a lot of changes to the garden in recent years and this money will enable us to improve the area even further."
Holy Redeemer will be opening up its garden for the public for the first time this weekend as part of the National Gardens Scheme open gardens event in Pershore.
