THREE cats with health problems have been found new homes thanks to Worcester News readers.
We previously reported how Doreen and Simon, who are totally blind, and elderly Mario were desperately looking for new homes as a part of an RSPCA long-term fostering scheme after they had been abandoned for not being the cats they once were.
Volunteer Diane Hillier, of the charity's Worcester and mid-Worcestershire branch, said: "All three cats now have new homes. They all went the very next day."
She said the RSPCA was currently inundated with kittens and reminded cat owners to neuter their pets, both males and females, to prevent any unwanted births.
Mrs Hillier said people could get advice on neutering as well as other information at a rehoming day at Top Cats Cattery, Green Street, Kempsey, near Worcester, between 11am and 3pm on Sunday.
The RSPCA will also be holding a coffee morning at the Guildhall in Worcester between 10am and noon on Friday, June 15.
