CLAY pigeon shooting, fencing and ferreting were just some the events children got up to at an activity day in Hanley Castle.
The Young Shots Activity Day, held at the South Worcestershire Shooting Ground, was a chance for Worcestershire children aged between nine and 17 to learn more about country sports.
As well as clay pigeon shooting, the youngsters tried their hands at falconry, gun dog handing and fly-fishing.
The day was organised by the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC). The aim, aside from introducing young people into countryside sport, was to show them the correct way to use firearms and shotguns.
