A SPECTATOR was hit in the face by a cricket ball while watching Worcestershire at New Road.
The man, aged 60, was injured in the incident shortly after 2pm yesterday during the county's game against Surrey.
He was treated by a first aider before an ambulance took him to Worcestershire Royal Hospital's accident and emergency department, where he was treated for cuts to his face.
