What's on offer:

Llangorse MAC offers a full-range of outdoor and indoor adventure pursuits - and there's something for kids of all ages.

There's a riding centre, the SkyTrek (a 2km-long zip slide), a challenge course with activities ranging from low level to 80ft in the air, the Dingle Scramble (a steep-sided dingle that's 1km long and 600ft high), and an indoor climbing and caving centre.

The MAC also offers B&B and self-catering accommodation.

Opening times:

Open all year, seven days a week, 9am-5pm.

How to get there:

From Worcester, take the A44 towards Leominster, then the A4103 to Hereford, the A438 towards Brecon, the A479 to Talgarth, and the B4560 to Llangorse via Bwlch.

Prices:

Indoor climbing and caving - from £12.50 per person for one hour. Sky Trek - £23 per two-hour session (over-12s only). Riding - a variety of prices ranging from £7.50 for kids aged from four to £59 for a full day. Dingle Scramble - £15.50 for two hours. Challenge course - £15.50 for two hours.

Review:

We spent an afternoon in the indoor climbing and caving centre but we'll definitely go back to try some of the other activities. James wants to try the Sky Trek and Joe is keen on the Dingle Scramble. The two hours indoors includes a scary (according to Joe) caving session in complete darkness, some great rope bridges to test your nerve on, having a go at the climbing walls, and ends with a zip slide.

Plenty of fun for all the family - and mum and dad can have a go if they want to (ours didn't!) - but you need to be relatively fit. It's all safe and you are supervised throughout.

And there's some fantastic scenery around the Brecon Beacons on the drive there and back. Dad says there are some really good pubs as well!
