BUDDING artists in Droitwich are invited to create a piece of royal artwork to be in with a chance of winning a £50 prize.
To celebrate Her Majesty’s 90th birthday, Hobbycraft at Webbs of Wychbold is launching a ‘Create for the Queen’ art Competition.
Store colleagues will vote for their favourites, with the winner from each store going forward to the national competition.
Paula Fox, store manager, said: "We can’t wait to see the majestic masterpieces our customers create to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday and are looking forward to choosing a winner."
Winners will scoop a £50 art hamper and will have their work displayed in the store.
To enter, artists must submit their own royal themed masterpiece using a creative medium of their choice, whether that is drawing, painting, sketching or mixed media.
The designs must be submitted in store no later than Sunday, June 5 and then store colleagues will pick their favourite piece.
