VISITORS to the Greyfriars in Friar Street, Worcester, not only took a step back in time but found themselves in step with mediaeval dancing.
They were able to watch and join in with a group of traditional dancers in costume led by historical dance expert Cathy Greenhill.
The merry dancing was held at the 15th century timber-framed merchant's house, which is owned by the National Trust, throughout Saturday afternoon.
Rachel Bannon, custodian at the Greyfriars, said: "It was a fantastic afternoon. Lots of people joined in with the dancing and there was a really great atmosphere in the house."
The same group will perform at St Swithun's Church, Worcester, on Saturday, July 14, at 2pm and 3pm.
