A MOTHER campaigning for better funding for Worcestershire's schools is calling on the county's MPs to help promote her fight.

Helen Donovan wants all six of the county's MPs to provide a link from their websites to the f40 website.

f40 represents a group of the poorest-funded education authorities in England where Government-set cash allocations for primary and secondary pupils are the lowest in the country.

Worcestershire is ranked 147 out of 150 authorities.

Mrs Donovan, who is a parent member of the executive board, said: "I have asked my own MP Peter Luff to provide a link from his website and he has agreed to do this, once his new site is up and running.

"I would now like the other five MPs in the county to also do the same so that people can find out more about the campaign and the work that is going on behind the scenes.

"This is a really important campaign to get fairer funding for our schools and the more people that know about it and support it, the better."
