A MAN exposed himself while sitting in his car, naked from the waist down, in front of two young girls in Worcester.

Police say it could be linked to a similar incident in Evesham later on the same day.

Two girls were sitting in a tree in Honister Drive, Warndon, at about 2.40pm yesterday. The man is described as being aged in his 50s, with cropped, dark hair and wearing a green T-shirt.

The car - possibly an old green Ford Cortina, dust-covered and with a dent in the passenger side - was parked in a cul-de-sac and was driven off towards a sports centre when one of the girls screamed and they ran off.

Later that day a similar incident occurred in Isbourne Close, Evesham at about 4.45pm when an old green car stopped alongside a girl waiting to cross the road with her scooter.

The totally naked male driver looked at the girl, but did not speak and drove off towards Fairfield Road. He had dark hair with white in it and was clean-shaven.

"In both instances the girls were very distressed at what they saw, but did the right thing and ran off and reported it as soon as they could," said a police spokesman.

"While there are a number of similarities between the two incidents, we are keeping an open mind as to whether they are directly linked."

Police in Worcester and Evesham want to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious at the two locations at around the given times or believes they can identify the men - or car - in either incident.
