FAMILIES can now get a wide range of help and support at the touch of a button - thanks to a new online directory.

The Worcestershire County Council family services directory has been developed by the Family Information Service at County Hall.

The guide is full of information on the range of help available for children, young people and families.

Its advice on parenting, abuse and neglect, schools and colleges, special needs and disabilities, housing and homelessness, relationships, and legal and finance issues can be found on the site at www.worcestershire.gov.uk/fsd.

Family Information Service manager Carol Andrew said: "It's vital families know what support is available to them.

"So often, people just don't know where to start looking and the aim of the directory is to point them in the right direction. Every family needs a little bit of help at some point."
