VISITORS to a Worcester environmental centre have had the opportunity to build their own music maker as part of the weekend's events, provided by the Duckworth Worcestershire Trust.

Children took part in a wide range of activities, using the wildlife garden and 19th century pump house building at the Pump House Environment Centre, Gheluvelt Park.

A free make-and-take activity took place on Saturday, where children made make their own music shaker out of materials that would be consigned to landfill, supplied by the Worcestershire Resource Exchange.

Philippa Witton, Education Officer of the Duckworth Worcestershire Trust, said: "Every school holiday we get busier and busier at the Pump House.

"New and old visitors are always welcome.

"The theme for the free children's activities is always changing and our wildlife garden is looking its best at this time of year."
