A KIND-HEARTED youngster has helped raise £1,000 for charity with a sponsored bike ride. Eight-year-old Kit Marlar enlisted the help of 14 friends, right, to help raise funds for Whizz-kidz - a charity dedicated to helping disabled children. His father, Jamie, said: "It was his idea to raise money for kids who are less fortunate than he is. He's a very thoughtful chap. We did the research together on the internet and he saw the Whizz-kidz website and announced he wanted to buy them some wheelchairs." Kit who is a pupil at Abberley Hall School, and his friends cycled five miles from his home in Shelsley Beauchamp around the Teme Valley.
