A SMALL group of youths are being hunted after they were spotted tampering with cars in a Worcester car park.

Ten police officers went to Croft Road car park at about 1.30pm yesterday after three youths were spotted tinkering with parked vehicles.

All three youths escaped but police say they are hopeful of catching them.

A Worcester Police spokesman said: "We had a call at 1.29pm to say there were three lads tinkering and tampering with cars in Croft Road car park. No cars were broken into, but the suspicion is that they were trying to break into them. We have got strong information about who the youths are and hope to track them down quickly."
