A HISTORIC house in the centre of Worcester will be hosting an afternoon of mediaeval dancing.
Visitors to the Greyfriars, a 15th-century timber-framed merchant's house, will be able to watch and join in with the action on Saturday, June 2. Historical dance expert Cathy Greenhill and a troupe of dancers will be performing throughout the afternoon.
Twenty-minute demonstrations will take place at 1.10pm, 2pm, 2.50pm, 3.40pm and 4.15pm. There will also be sessions when visitors can put their best foot forward and try the steps for themselves.
Custodian Rachel Bannon said: "It promises to be an entertaining afternoon as the house is brought to life with music and dancing." The dance sessions are suitable for all ages and abilities. Normal admission prices to the house will apply and there will be no additional charges for the dancing. For further event information, call the Greyfriars on 01905 23571.
