President Patricia Ash, back from her celebratory visit to family in Australia, opened the May meeting.
The record reported that four members had attended an excellent Lucy Hingley lecture in April 25 by consultant Paul Moran, a urogynaecologist.
He brought us up-to-date with the latest treatments that might affect us all.
The business included arrangements and a collection of money for the June outing to on Severn Valley Railway.
Two resolutions were then presented and discussed - the first by Florence Rees and Eileen Chapman on the request for legislation to ensure funding for all, of nursing home care'.
This will go forward to the autumn council meeting. The second by Patricia Ash and Gillian Love for the national annual meeting on June 6, that the government save our community hospitals'.
Patricia worked as a physiotherapist both home and abroad and at the Malvern Hospital for 10 years before retiring. We voted unanimously for both.
A quiz of musical instruments followed for light relief and a welcome cup of tea to end a very worthwhile meeting.
