WEST Mercia Constabulary has launched a recruitment drive to attract 140 new police officers.
In June the force will hold sessions where people can talk to officers to find out what the job entails.
It is particularly keen to hear from people from minority ethnic backgrounds and women.
Interested people will only be able to collect application forms at these sessions, which will take place in Worcester on Wednesday, June 13, in Hereford on Tuesday, June 19, and in Kidderminster on Tuesday, June 12.Sessions will run between 4pm and 6pm and 7pm and 9pm on each day.
Places at the evenings are limited, so anyone who is interested should call 01905 331443 from 9am on Tuesday.
