FANS of reformed prog-rock band Genesis will be able to catch them live' in Worcester.
The band's sold-out Düsseldorf gig is to be broadcast live on a big screen at the Vue cinema in Friar Street. The broadcast is the first of its kind being shown in multiple cinemas across the country at the same time.
It follows Vue's previous screenings of Queen, Green Day, Pink Floyd, Morrissey and Live 8 concerts and there are plans to show international football matches, major music events and interactive gaming exhibitions.
Audiences going to the Genesis screening have been promised a faultless audio-visual experience.
Extra microphones will be dotted around the LTU Arena in Düsseldorf to capture the full atmosphere of the crowd and an array of state-of-the-art speakers installed in the cinema will ensure fans are treated to a full surround sound. For more details log on to www.myvue.com or call 08712 240 240.
