VISITORS to a Worcester wood are set to see it come alive during a free event this weekend.
Worcester Woods Country Park, in Nunnery Wood, is the venue for the free Woodlands Alive event, providing an opportunity for residents to come and see a working woodland in action.
The event includes heavy horses, willow weaving, wood turning, hurdle making, woodland craft stalls, children's activities, as well as other activities.
Tanya Feasey, from Worcestershire Countryside Service, said: "This is a fun, free event for the whole family.
"Learn all about traditional woodland crafts and come and see the heavy horses dragging huge logs through the woods."
The event takes place on Sunday, February 28, between 10am and 3pm.
No tickets are required for the event, simply turn up on the day.
