Eye, Eye Captain! Customers visiting Specsavers in Worcester tomorrow could end up walking the plank - but it's all for a very good cause.

While movie fans flock to see the latest Pirates of the Caribbean film at the cinema, staff at the Broad Street store will join in the fun to boost city charity Acorns.

The colourful crew will be pleading for pieces of eight from customers to help the Bath Road centre which cares for life-limited children.

The store will even be decked out like the Black Pearl ship from the film - complete with movie star Johnny Depp, in the form of a cardboard cut-out.

There will be plenty of fun for customers including a treasure map competition, treasure chest lucky dip, plus flag and ship colouring competitions for youngsters.

Store director Randeep Singh said: "The screening of the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie gave us the perfect theme for our fund-raising day and we hope lots of people come to see us to help support Acorns on the day.

"The staff are really looking forward to being Pirates - although I can't promise any Orlando or Johnny lookalikes."

Prizes on offer at the store include family tickets to see the latest Pirates of the Caribbean move at the Odeon cinema in Foregate Street, pirate games and a half bottle of rum.
