WORCESTERSHIRE people have been urged to have their say on the future of the river Severn by commenting on a document published by the Environment Agency.
The paper called River Basin Planning: Working Together has been created in response to a new European regulation, called the Water Framework Directive which requires wat-erways to meet certain standards by 2015.
Mark Scott, the agency's programme manager for the Severn river basin district, said: "This document gives people the chance to influence the way the water framework directive works for the next nine years."
