BORED youngsters can take part in a series of half-term activities at a Worcestershire garden centre.

Fair rides, balloon magic and riverside rambles are on offer at Webbs garden centre near Droitwich next week.

Children's entertainer Pro-fessor Pepperpot will perform magic and youngsters can have their faces painted.

For more outdoor fun, children can join a path of discovery through Webbs's riverside gardens. The free trail along the river Salwarpe includes a prize for every child who completes a quiz.

Activities take place from Tuesday, May 29, to Friday, June 1, between 11am and 4pm. There are charges for face painting and fair rides. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Ed Webb, executive chairman, said: "Our school holiday activities are hugely popular with youngsters and their mums, dads and grandparents."
