SHOPPERS at the Co-op in Malvern Link are in for a treat this weekend as summer kicks off with a barbecue at the store on Saturday.
Staff will be serving up a feast with some of the shop's newest ranges and will offer tips on how to hold the best barbecue in town.
Manager Gary Heason said: "Customers can try some of our food and children will be entertained by face painters and balloon modellers. It's sure to be a sizzling Saturday, whatever the weather."
The free event runs from 10am to 4pm. The shop, in Worcester Road, recently had chef James Garth, from Seasons restaurant at the Colwall Park Hotel, open the store after a refurbishment.
