REVIEW

IN Hot Flush, we meet four extraordinary women.

Myra (Rula Lenska), Helen (Marti Webb), Sylvia (Sheila Ferguson) and Jessica (Rachel Izen) all have problems - whether it's with their husbands, their lovers, a lack of passion or, in one case, too much of it.

They also all have one thing in common - they are all of a certain age and fighting the change.

Sylvia is having an affair because HRT has boosted her libido, Helen has lost her husband and longs for love, Myra, a successful divorce barrister, has seen her husband run away with a blonde, busty lap dancer, and Jessica hasn't seen her husband for weeks because he is always in his shed.

Sam Kane plays all the men in the women's lives, and performs each character brilliantly.

The show is packed with fabulous new songs based on well-known tunes.

The audience shares the friendships, secrets, laughs and tears of all the characters - and they even got to their feet to join in with the last song.

Hot Flush is a fantastically funny evening with some great one-liners. It runs until Saturday.
