REGISTRATION has opened for this year's Go Dad Run charity event in Worcester.
Athletics legend Colin Jackson - an Olympic silver medallist - has urged men from Worcester to put on their running shoes for a charity run in the city in June.
Launched in 2013, Go Dad Run is the brainchild of the former triple world champion who created it after two of his uncles suffered with prostate cancer.
The event has grown nationally, and the first one in Worcester was held last year.
This year's event is being held at Worcester Racecourse, on Saturday, June 11.
Changes this year see the introduction of a 10 kilometre run, as well as the five kilometre, a chip timing service for all registered runners as well a new team competition.
There is also free entry for boys aged under 10.
Colin said: "I'm excited to continue our relationship with Prostate Cancer UK because it is a charity that is very close to my heart.
“By bringing together dads and sons, brothers and cousins, neighbours, workmates and friends who are willing to get involved in a run and play their part in the fight against prostate cancer we hope that we can have a positive effect on their lives and health."
