THE city's food bank has issued an urgent appeal for baby food and dog food.

Worcester Foodbank, based in Carden Close, near City Walls Road, has asked for donation of baby food including SMA milk and dog food.

The food bank had a boost from its Christmas Appeal collections at the city's two Tesco collections but desperately need the two items.

Volunteers will be handing out Christmas hampers and food parcels until Wednesday, December 23 and are also collecting festive goodies.

Donations can be dropped off at the food bank Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 11am and 2pm.
