A ROMANIAN pedestrian who was killed following a collision between two cars in Holt Heath has been named.
Camelia Cutitaru, 20, a picker and packer at Top Barn Activity Centre’s farm, died from “multiple injuries” following the crash, according to coroners.
She was pronounced dead at the scene after an ambulance was called to Worcester Road at 5pm on Sunday, November 22.
An inquest into her death will be held in Stourport on March 29.
Worcestershire Coroners Service has listed the circumstances, which will be formally confirmed at the inquest, as “Ms Cutitaru was knocked over and killed by a car on the A443 road at Top Barn, Holt Heath”.
West Mercia Police confirmed in November that the incident involved two cars and left a pedestrian dead.
Alice Harper, who runs the farm, said after the crash: "It is such terrible news. She was a lovely, lovely girl and I feel so much for her family in Romania.
"We don't yet know much about the accident but have been told she was getting off the bus that stops just outside the entrance (before the collision).
"It is just so sad and I can't imagine what her family is going through."
Saeed Ahmed, owner of Cottage Store and Post Office in Holt Heath, added: “It is very sad news and very sad for her family”.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said on Sunday, November 22: "A pedestrian suffered serious injuries and despite the best efforts of the crews to resuscitate her she was sadly confirmed dead at the scene."
