A CHARITY has teamed up with a website to help connect communities this Christmas.
Friends of the Elderly, which is an official partner of online scheme Community Christmas, wants people to organise activities so no older person will be alone on Christmas Day.
The good cause believes putting on events would be "the best gift you can give" to those without friends or family to celebrate with.
Anyone who organises an event can upload it to communitychristmas.org.uk - an online directory of Christmas Day activities open to the elderly.
