POLICE seized two uninsured cars last night, leaving the offending motorists to walk home.
Officers from West Mercia Police's operations patrol unit for Worcestershire seized the vehicles in Redditch and Wythall.
The cheeky driver in Redditch told police "I just forgot - can you let me off?" while in Wythall the vehicle also had no tax.
Police tweeted from @OPUWorcestershire at 6.43pm: "Vehicle seized for no insurance Wythall area. No tax either. Driver and his five passengers are now walking."
This was followed with a second post at 8.30pm: "Vehicle seized Redditch area for no insurance. 'I just forgot. Can u just let me off?' 'Ummm, no.' He's now on foot."
