GENEROUS visitors to a Worcester hair salon are being encouraged to donate their tins of dog and cat food to help abandoned animals.
Tony Hair, who runs Le Salon in Bath Road, is asking pet lovers to support the Christmas appeal in exchange for a five per cent discount of their haircut.
The offer runs throughout December and already a number of items have been donated, adding to a collection that will be passed to the animal welfare centre in Malvern.
Tony said he annually runs the appeal at Christmas but it was extra poignant this year as his own dog passed around in January.
