VISITING author Billy Bob Buttons has talked to Badsey First School pupils about how to create characters and settings.
The author, who has written books such as Felicity Brady, I Think I murdered Miss and the Boy who Piddled in Grandad's Slippers, spent a morning with key stage 2 children.
He also read excerpts from his books.
Amanda Charnley, deputy headteacher, said: "The children were inspired to write their own stories following his visit and were delighted they had met a published author."
