YARNBOMBERS have left scarves for the homeless along the railings of The Guildhall, Worcester in the early hours of this morning.
Project Wrap It Up Worcester made 91 scarves which they placed along the railings at 4.30am this morning.
St Paul's Hostel are due to collect the scarves at 1pm today and will share them with Magg's Day Centre.
Carys Thurlby, who is behind the project, said: "I'm a knitter and a crocheter, it's my hobby, I thought it would be good to do a yarnbomb project but instead of it being just art it would have a purpose.
"We wanted to make something which would have a real use and I thought scarves would be good because they have a real use and can be made by anyone from the beginner to the really talented knitters."
