PUPILS from Bowbrook House School near Peopleton enjoyed an in-depth look at life during World War II with the help of historical interpreters from Bewdley Museum.
The focus for the day was the Blitz and life on the Home Front and the children from year 6 had the opportunity to visit an Anderson shelter, sound the air raid siren and handle artefacts from this period of history.
Sarah Ridge, head of Lower School, said: "The children arrived at school dressed as evacuees and experienced what it might have felt like arriving at a billeting office as an evacuee.
"A thoroughly enjoyable and educational day was had by all.”
